Bernardo Josue is a San Francisco based filmmaker and activist in the Filipino Community. He is passionate and dedicated in serving his community through filmmaking as a tool for education, community activism, and grassroots organizing. He is currently a staff member of Salupongan International, a network of organizations, institutions & individuals dedicated to the empowerment of marginalized rural communities in southern Philippines.
He is a San Francisco State University graduate in the Cinema department with an emphasis in documentary filmmaking. He is primarily a cinematographer and an editor working with corporate and non profit commercials, short films, music videos, weddings, fundraising campaigns, and live events.
Bernardo is an Editor and Camera Operator of Kontent Films -- an award winning video production agency based in the South of Market (SoMa) San Francisco.
Bernardo is a co-founder and Director of Photography of Sine68 Films. A production company based in San Francisco Bay Area.
